Steve Morics
Estragon

Steve Morics is currently Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Redlands. After numerous productions in high school and college, Steve left the stage for 25 years until his son took an acting class from Chris Beach, which has led to collaborations on nearly a dozen shows (including playing trumpet in the pit for two of them). He’s been happy to get math students to theatrical productions, and occasionally, getting theater students to think about math. Steve worked with Chris and Terry on a production of Mamet’s American Buffalo, and is beyond fortunate to work with them on another classic of the stage as they end their academic careers.

Liam Sweeney is a 7th grader at The Grove School in Redlands where he has performed in two theater productions, most recently as Prince John in Marian: the True Tale of Robin Hood. An avid music lover, he taught himself to play the guitar, and he now plays electric guitar in The Grove Jazz Band and in the metal band he formed called Oracle. He is a center/right midfielder for the Redlands AYSO Extra soccer team and can play a mean game of ping-pong. He loves the arts, the outdoors, social justice, and making comics.
